Location University of Santa Barbara, CA campus, the most beautiful campus in the United States. The camps boast three, state-of-the-art, lit synthetic soccer fields, centrally located in the midst of the athletic grounds. Campers will have the opportunity to view Harder Stadium at Meredith Field, home of nine consecutive NCAA #1 attendance records and host of the 2010 & 2018 NCAA National Championships, ‘College Cup’.
Staff The Winter College ID Camp is Directed by UC Santa Barbara, Head Coach, Tim Vom Steeg and coaching staff Greg Wilson & Johnny Whallon. The Goalkeeping Academy is Directed by UC Santa Barbara, Goalkeeping Coach, Matias Fernendez.
Level Open to any and All Boys 14-18 (HS Freshman to Senior)- 2009-2006 Birth Years. Designed for the highly motivated male field players and goalkeepers.
Spaces Limited to only 150 Campers per session (2-day camp)
Cost $325 (Day- includes lunch on both days). $450 (Residential- includes housing* at hotel with one roommate and lunch on both days).
Housing.* Residential campers stay in at off-campus hotel (camp staff will chaperone) within a 5-minute walk to campus, which is perfect for all individuals and teams in attendance. Campers who require residential option must denote housing and roommate requests when registering online. If a roommate is not requested a camper will be assigned one randomly (by age & grade). JOIN US. Come join The Winter College ID Camp. The camp is for the highly motivated and determined young 14 – 18 year-old males. UC Santa Barbara staff have worked to design an elite high school camp that will prepare the highly motivated field players and goalkeepers for the tactical demands and elite technical skills necessary for players that aspire to play at the top level of the game.
STAFF. Learn directly from and work daily with UC Santa Barbara coaches who have a passion and unparalleled enthusiasm to teach and work with kids. The WINTER College ID Staff will consist of ONLY of UC Santa Barbara Soccer NCAA National Champion staff. For Directors and Staff Bio's Click HERE . CURRICULUM. The curriculum is designed for players and goalkeepers interested in reaching the highest level of the game. Designed and led by UC Santa Barbara Head Coach, The Winter ID Camp provides the ideal developmental environment for the serious soccer player with ambitions of playing collegiate soccer to reach the next level. For the campers in attendance, it is a perfect opportunity for you to be identified by and work with one of the NCAA’s top Division 1 programs in the country, while having the benefit of a National Championship staff. The UC Santa Barbara coaching staff will motivate and driving each player to achieve in all aspects of their game. At the same time providing an extremely competitive atmosphere. The coaches on staff are committed to the individual improvement of each player through instruction, tactical training, small-sided and 11 vs. 11 games.
