2020 marks the 20th annual Tim Vom Steeg Santa Barbara Soccer Identification Camp​s held on the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara. Camps will feature all current members of the  UCSB Men’s Soccer coaching staff.   Tim Vom Steeg Santa Barbara Soccer Identification Camps are designed for advanced player development and exposure to the top college coaches. The camps are an ideal setting for players who have aspirations of playing collegiate soccer at the top level.

The 5-Day Training Camp, field player’s sessions are designed for players who aspire to play at the collegiate level. Camps provide a challenging program with training sessions stressing positional play and advanced team tactics. Daily demonstrations will be led by top college coaches from around the country.

• The  5-Day Training Camp will feature both the UCSB coaching staff as well as guest college coaches.

Players will receive first hand experience of UCSB's Harder Stadium, the site of the 2010, 2018 and 2020 College Cups, and the #1 crowds in the country! The daily program will incorporate evening classroom sessions on NCAA recruitment and competition.

Camp enrollment is open to all players but will be limited to only 125 campers (per camp) to allow individual attention for each player from the staff. A combination of competitive training sessions and full 11 vs. 11 games will be at the core of camp curriculum.

The Santa Barbara Soccer ID & Team Training Camps are an excellent pre or post season opportunity for games and training outside of your local area. This is a great alternative option to attending another generic tournament. 

In the past, camps have offered players an excellent recruiting opportunity for UCSB and other colleges.

2020 Goalkeeper Academy

2-Day Goalkeeper Academy: June 27-28 | August 8-9
 5-Day Goalkeeper Academy: July 17-21 

Designed for goalkeepers who aspire to play at the collegiate level. The camp boasts a highly competitive environment with training sessions stressing positional play, advanced goalkeeping team tactics as well as technical and functional training in goal. Daily demonstrations will be performed by current members of the UCSB Men's Soccer goalkeepers and led by top college coaches. This program is designed for players, who are already proficient in the fundamentals of goalkeeping.

Players will be divided into teams throughout the week and will compete in evening games. Goalkeepers who perform well during the week will be given the opportunity to play in the All-Star Game. This camp offers players an excellent recruiting opportunity for UCSB and other colleges. There were two goalkeepers who have been members on UCSB's squad who attended the Goalkeeper Academy.    ​
