Recreational Camp |
The Recreational program offers a half-day program
that is designed for field players and goalkeepers
who would like to improve their individual skill.
The camp is designed for recreational boys and girl’s
ages 5 to 12 of all ability levels who are enthusiastic
about learning in a fun environment. Players will
be separated based on age and ability levels in order
to give each player the best opportunity to learn
and experience success.
The emphasis of the recreational field player camp
will be on fun skills development to improve each
player’s confidence, creativity, and comfort level
with the ball; but will also work on basic tactical
movements with the more advanced players. We will
scrimmage every day in both small groups to encourage
more touches on the ball; as well as large groups,
to enhance understanding of movement without the ball.
By the end of the week all campers will leave with
a greater understanding of the fundamentals of passing,
dribbling, shooting and receiving balls. Demonstrations
will include professional, UCSB Men’s National Champion
players, and 2010 Big West Champion Men and Women’s
team members.
In addition, players who are interested in goalkeeping
or currently play goalie will have a special time
and program each morning. Goalies will learn basic
techniques in body mechanics, body shape, balance,
footwork, handling, shot stopping and distribution
through feet and hands. Instructors will be current
and past goalkeepers that are experts in their position
and will incorporate fun games to improve the player’s
confidence as a goalie.

Register for 2-seperate weeks (must register at the
same time) $5 off second week and every subsequent
week. All applications must be submitted at the same
time.
Sibling Discount: $5 off each additional child enrolled.

Note: Discounts cannot be combined (Maximum $5 Discount
per camper per week)
We accept registration up until the start of each
week, OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
Cancellation and refund? POLICY: All payments made
to “Go 2 Soccer” are non-refundable unless SB Soccer
cancels the camp. A $25 Service fee will be charged
for returned checks.
Note: A confirmation letter with additional information
will be sent to your email upon receipt of registration
