During the Camps players will experience components
from all four major facets within the game of soccer
(Tactical, Technical, Physical and Mental). Examples
of such are:
- Technical concepts1v1 Attacking
& Defending, final pass, unbalancing runs and
long-range passing.
- Tactical conceptsSpeed of play, switching
play, possession in thirds of field and principles
of defending.
- PhysicalClassroom sessions in Nutrition
and Care and Prevention and Field sessions in speed,
agility and quickness training.
- MentalDiscipline, goal setting and
leadership components are incorporated into on and
off the field sessions.
Also, players will be given the opportunity to work
on functional and position specific training. For
example, defending in a back four or three, or defensive
pressuring schemes for forwards. Positional specific
sessions are extremely beneficial to players, allowing
the opportunity to learn in depth knowledge about
the position they play from experienced collegiate
players and coaches.
