Our 5-Day Santa Barbara Soccer Holiday Day Camp hosted by Santa Barbara staff will take place at Girsh Park in the most beautiful town in the United States, Goleta, Ca.
The Santa Barbara Soccer Holiday Day Camp is open to all participants as an introduction to the forging ground that encompasses the technical, tactical, mental and physical aspects of the game of soccer. The program is a perfect introduction to an age and level appropriate soccer skill development and learning environment that will assist in forming the character traits that will serve children for the rest of their lives.
Our staff will place campers appropriately within their correct abilities levels and groups (recreational/club) in order for participants to have the greatest success and correct challenge.
Enrollment is open to any 5-13 year old field players and goalkeepers. Goalkeepers will be incorporated with field players for each session but will have a 1-hour goalkeeper specific training session each day as well.
Participant Limit: Approximately 100 (Registration is on-line and by credit card only). All tuition options must be paid in full prior to the first day of camp and is non-refundable. Registrants can only receive camp credit (must be used within one year) for a future day camp after registering online. HOLIDAY DAY CAMP PHILOSOPHY: The camp provides the ideal developmental atmosphere for the next generation of aspiring soccer player with ambitions to learn and enjoy the game. The program will:
• Teach players of all ability levels how to develop an appetite for self-improvement and training.
• Teach individual essential character traits and values. Every camper will have a daily honesty, leadership and teamwork lesson plans incorporated into activities and games.
• Prepare players with technically and tactically understanding for their desired level of play.
PLAYER INSTRUCTION PROVIDED:
· Technical instruction on passing, receiving, dribbling & shooting.
· Focus on transitional play and individual attacking & defending.
· Mobility, motor skills and running mechanics will be improved.
· Character development lesson plans incorporated into program.
· Tactical understanding and individual mobility will be enhanced.
· Goalkeeper specific training will be provided daily for 1-hour.
STAFF: The campers at the 5-Day Santa Barbara Soccer Holiday Day Camp will have access to and learn from National Champion Coaches. Campers will enjoy a no greater than a 1 to 10-12 staff to camper ratio throughout the week.
